The Catherine Petre rose has been grown in celebration of the Federation of Essex Womens Institute's 90th Birthday. The rose has been named after Lady Catherine Petre who worked tirelessly to get the Essex Federation up and going in 1917 and became their first Federation County Chairman. The WI In Essex has always endeavoured to bring social contact, education and pleasure to the women of Essex; resolutions have been debated, MP's have been lobbied, garden parties and other social events organised. The spirit of Lady Catherine Petre will now live on in the gardens of WI members for many years to come.

Rose Description
This beautiful, medium red floribunda rose grows to around 80cm and has a delicate fragrance. It has glossy green foliage and good disease resistance. Height and Spread:80cm x 60cm (32in x 24in)
